Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Leap, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Services. We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will provide reasonable notice through the Services or another appropriate channel and state the effective date. Changes do not remove rights that cannot legally be removed. If you do not accept a material change, you may stop using the Services before it takes effect.

You must be at least 14 years old to use the Services. The Services are not directed to children under 14. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Services only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian where required by law. You agree not to: • Use the Services for unlawful purposes • Attempt to access systems or data you are not authorized to access • Reverse engineer or interfere with the app, except where prohibited by law • Use the Services in a way that harms Leap, other users, or third parties

Leap provides general fitness and wellness tracking, reminders, progression, and personalization features. Leap is designed as a local-first app. Most usage data and settings are stored on your device, while Supabase operates account authentication and other service providers process subscription and limited analytics data as described in the Privacy Policy. Features may change, be temporarily unavailable, or be discontinued. You are responsible for maintaining access to your device and for understanding that uninstalling or resetting app data may remove locally stored information.

Leap may offer optional paid subscriptions or features through the Apple App Store or Google Play only. Before purchase, the relevant store will display the applicable price, currency, billing period, renewal terms, and any trial or introductory offer. That purchase information forms part of the applicable subscription agreement. Subscriptions are billed through your platform account, and subscription state may be processed via RevenueCat. Unless otherwise stated at purchase, subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. Important billing terms: • Billing, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are handled through the applicable app marketplace and its terms • You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple or Google subscription settings • A price change will apply only as permitted by the store rules and applicable law • Deleting a Leap account does not automatically cancel an Apple or Google subscription Nothing in these Terms limits statutory consumer rights, including any applicable withdrawal rights or remedies for a defective digital service.

Where consumer law applies, Leap will provide the digital Services in conformity with the applicable contract and legal requirements, including any mandatory update obligations. If the Services do not conform, you may have statutory rights such as requesting that they be brought into conformity, receiving a price reduction, or ending the contract, subject to the conditions and time limits set by applicable law. Any statutory withdrawal right and any exception for digital content or digital services will be handled as required by applicable law and the relevant app marketplace process. Nothing in these Terms waives or restricts those rights.

The Services, including software, design, branding, and content, are owned by Leap or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to these terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial use.

Leap is for general fitness and wellness support only. It is not medical, mental health, diagnostic, treatment, prevention, monitoring, or emergency service advice, and Leap is not an emergency service. Health, wellness, and step information may be incomplete or inaccurate and should not be used as the sole basis for a medical decision. Always seek qualified professional guidance for medical concerns and do not ignore professional advice because of information in the Services.

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, without warranties except those that cannot legally be excluded. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Leap is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from your use of the Services. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including mandatory statutory rights and remedies for digital services, or liability for death or personal injury caused by our acts or omissions.

You may stop using the Services at any time. Account deletion is described on our Account Deletion page and does not automatically cancel an Apple or Google subscription. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create legal or security risk, or misuse the Services. Where reasonably possible, we will provide notice and an opportunity to address the issue. We may act without prior notice where necessary to protect users, the Services, or legal rights. Termination does not affect rights or obligations that accrued before termination.

These terms are governed by the laws of Austria, excluding conflict-of-laws rules. If you are a consumer, nothing in this section deprives you of mandatory consumer protections or the right to bring a claim in a court that is competent under the law that applies to you. Any exclusive venue agreement applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
